Small in size totalling 6 rooms with 3 suites each on two levels, popular for honeymoon couples. Decoration is period and typical with stone walls and candle light fittings. Bathrooms small but adequate. Has an established reputation and is located on the first floor. As this Pousada is in the old town itself, approach by coach is not possible, instead a pleasant walk to the entrance through a pair of adjoining doors of manueline architecture welcome guests into the courtyard. Is small in size and to the left of reception vestibule is a small sitting room with adjoining bar all decorated with shining armour, good furniture and tapestires. Obidos is a tourist attraction, known for its typical white houses with blue trim, flowered windows, narrow streets and steps paved with beautiful stone. 08/08 mp
